Blaster Master is a shooter/platformer hybrid originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988. The game alternates between side/vertical-scrolling and top-down gameplay. You begin the game in a tank, which is your primary means of transportation for navigating levels. At certain points, you will need to exit the vehicle so that you can reach otherwise inaccessible areas. There is no score. Your only objective is to kill mutants and survive as you make your way through eight levels.
