DN8: Pulse is a space shooter in which you can choose your own upgrade path. Start off with a basic ship that can only move horizontally, and select levels that will give you new abilities. The path you choose will either improve your ship's defensive or offensive capabilities. Gain experience points and increase your rank to unlock perks.
