Select one of three modes; drop, shift or swap. In drop mode, move the mouse to a column a left click to drop a block. In the shift mode, click and drag a block left/right or up/down to shift that row or column. In swap mode, click on any two blocks to swap them. Link blocks of the same color to score, scoring more points for longer links.
