Protostar is a vertically-scrolling space shooter with a storyline, upgrades and over 20 missions. Shoot swarms of enemy ships as you dodge their bullets and collect the crystals that they leave behind. Upgrade your ship's armor, shields, engines, blasters, launcher and missiles with your crystals before entering an area. If you find a mission to be too difficult, try reconfiguring your ship's upgrades.
