The game is played with nine balls, numbered one through nine. Every time a shot is taken, the first ball the cue ball hits has to be the target ball, which is the lowest numbered ball on the table. The target ball may be pocketed, or the target ball may hit other balls and pocket those. Legally pocketing a ball is worth 100 points. If no ball or a wrong ball is hit, 25 points will be subtracted. You have 5 minutes time to play. The goal is to legally pocket the 9-ball as often as possible. Every time you accomplish this, you get a bonus of 200 points.
